Ryan Dougherty

Ryan Dougherty brings twenty-five years of experience in investment banking, asset management and journalism. With a strong sell-side and buy-side background and broad contacts of institutional investors, Ryan managed investor relations and media relations campaigns for companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ with clients such as PayPal, eBay and Alibbaba. Ryan was a Portfolio Manager with Ameriprise Financial Services based in New York where he managed portfolios in the retail industry. Mr. Dougherty started his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York specializing in real estate banking. Ryan was also a residential real estate agent specializing in properties in the West Village in Manhattan. During his time in South Carolina, he was also a business reporter for the Charleston Business Journal. Ryan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia Business School. |
