Investment Associate Tyler received his degree from Chapman University in 2013 and was involved in many ventures including development of shopping centers, hotel & theme parks, and various forms of renewable energies. He is currently involved in the acquisition and development of grocery anchored shopping centers while assisting Watkins Commercial Properties during it's busy 1031-Exchange.
Watkins Commercial Properties is responsible for developing, leasing and owning over 6,000,000 square feet of retail shopping centers for several financial partners. Tyler has a strong network with high-profile executives and adds creative strategies to increase ROI time period. Mr. Watkins has also been mentored by high profile executives such as John Cora, a 30 year veteran of The Walt Disney Company, who was the Vice President of Disneyland during Disney’s $1.6B Disneyland Resort expansion project and oversaw $750 M in annual revenues. Mr. Cora left The Walt Disney Company to serve as the CEO of Palace Entertainment and then started VisionMaker Worldwide, (where Tyler worked for him) which has completed many projects such as the following: Downtown Disney; Universal Studios Hollywood; Tokyo Disneyland; Tokyo DisneySea; and countless others. Originating from within retail anchored shopping centers, Tyler is currently providing services to those seeking to acquire apartments in the the ever-increasing areas of demand within Orange and LA County. Tyler is also showing apartment sellers how to maximize their equity and lower their management obligations through a 1031 Exchange process, which is an IRS tax-deferral method that allows sellers with significant levels of appreciation to double or triple their income with zero landlord responsibility through Triple Net commercial deals.
